Mulai dari alat pendeksi panas hingga alat pemadam semua dimiliki perusahaan perkebunan kelapa sawit itu.<\/p>\n<p>Peralatan yang dimiliki itu disaksikan langsung Kepala Pelaksana Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Kabupaten Paser Edwar Effendi bersama Wartawan Siaga Bencana (Wapena) Paser, Selasa (23\/5), saat melakukan kunjungan ke perusahaan yang beroperasi di Kecamatan Paser Belengkong tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>Kunjungan Edwar dan Wapena Paser disambut Asisten SHE\/Fire BIM-PPS Ibnu Suyud di Markas Komando Tim Kesiapsiagaan Tanggap Darurat (TKTD) BIM-PPS. Saat diajak melihat peralatan TKTD BIM-PPS, Edwar tak kuasa menyembunyikan kegagumannya.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLengkap peralatannya, dan rata-rata mudah dipindahkan. Seperti kantong air portable yang mampu menampung 1.000 liter air, itu juga sangat berguna saat musim kemarau, sebagai antisipasi kesulitan mendapat air untuk upaya pemadaman,\u201d kata Edwar<\/p>\n<p>Edward juga mengakui, TKTD BIM-PPS selalu mengikuti setiap kegiatan terkait penanggulangan Karhutla. Seperti pada acara peringatan Hari Kesiapsiagaan Bencana Nasional (HKBN) di Kolam Km 8 poros Tanah Grogot-Kuaro dan pembentukan Tim Siaga Karhutla Paser dalam Rakor yang digelar BPBD beberapa waktu lalu.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDari keaktifan mengikuti setiap kegiatan penanggulangan bencana, sudah terlihat kepedulian BIM-PPS untuk bekerjasama mencegah dan menanggulangi potensi Karhutla,\u201d kata Edward meyakinkan Ketua Wapena Paser, Sarassani.<\/p>\n<p>Dalam kunjungan itu pihak perusahaan juga mengajak ke lokasi simulasi pemadaman Karhutla yang diperagakan personil TKTD. Disana Edwar juga mengagumi inovasi TKDT, yakni sepeda motor trail yang dilengkapi mesin pompa dan selang pemadam, yang mempercepat upaya pemadaman.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Saya yakin dari sekian banyak perusahaan perkebunan yang beroperasi di Paser, hanya BIM-PPS yang sudah siap menerapkan zero burning, yakni tidak melakukan pembakaran lahan saat penanaman awal maupun replanting,&#8221; ucapnya.<\/p>\n<p>Sementara itu, Asisten SHE\/Fire BIM-PPS Ibnu Suyud mengatakan perusahaan sangat komitmen terhadap kebijakan presiden. Maka sejak tahun 2016 kita membentuk TKDT, menyiapkan peralatan dan sarana pendukung, sehingga sekarang tinggal memperkuat di lingkungan masyarakat, terutama di sekitar perusahaan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTim sudah dibentuk, peralatan dan sarana pendukung juga sudah siap. Begitu juga area lingkungan perusahaan sudah kita perkuat, tinggal sosialisasi ke masyarakat sekitar agar tidak membakar lahan,\u201d kata Ibnu Suyud.
